Toni Bou currently leads the overall standings with 55 points, while Gabriel Marcelli sits in third place.
The X-Trial World Championship holds its final round of the 2025 this weekend with a double-header in Ponte di Legno, Italy. The town makes its debut as a World Championship venue. The Repsol Honda HRC team have achieved strong results in the first three rounds of the 2026 season; Toni Bou leads the overall standings with 55 points, and his teammate Gabriel Marcelli in third place with 42 points.
With two consecutive victories and a second-place finish, Bou is the series leader with a 11-point advantage over his closest rival. Although the Repsol Honda rider has previously ridden in Ponte di Legno, this will be his first time competing in a World Championship event in the town. The goal this weekend will be to secure a double victory that consolidates their lead before the Christmas break.
Marcelli is third in the standings with 42 points, after taking three consecutive podium finishes so far in the 2026 season. The Montesa Cota 4RT rider will be looking for his first win in the indoor series at this weekend’s double-header.
The Repsol Honda HRC riders will be in action on Saturday and Sunday at Palasport at 8:00pm.
Toni Bou
“After a great start to the season, with two wins and a second place, this double-header will be especially important because there are a lot of points up for grabs. We’ll have to stay focused on both days, as there will be no room for error. In the first few races, I’ve been very careful with my fitness because I didn’t start out at 100%, but this will be a race that will push me to the limit, and I want to see exactly where we stand. I’m very happy with how everything is going despite my condition, so getting a good result will be key to going into the break with a comfortable lead.”
Gabriel Marcelli
"I'm really looking forward to improving on my result from the last race here in Italy. I felt good in the first races of the season and achieved some positive results. I think I have a real chance of winning and I feel that moment is close, because I'm getting better and better. As it's a double-header, I'll have two opportunities. As well as fighting for the win, our goal will be to finish ahead of Jaime to regain second place in the overall standings."
Takahisa Fujinami
"The team arrive in Ponte di Legno with very positive feelings. Toni and Gabri are demonstrating great consistency at the start of this season, and the results reflect this. Toni has a competitive pace in every race, while Gabri is taking steps forward and has the talent to fight for the win. We approach this double-header with confidence and with the goal of maintaining this momentum of positive results."
