Toni Bou chases his 19th title, and Gabriel Marcelli arrives in form.

The 2025 TrialGP World Championship holds its final round of the season this weekend, with a very special return to the United Kingdom for the first time since 2018. Expectations will be high for the season finale, as Toni Bou will seek to claim his 19th world title in the outdoor discipline, while his teammate, Gabriel Marcelli, will try to continue his streak of good results.

Bou has the possibility of retaining his title in the first race of the weekend. With 82 points in play this weekend and a 79-point lead over nearest challenger Jaime Busto, the Repsol Honda HRC rider will only need three points to clinch the crown. Should the Montesa Cota 4RT rider mathematically secure his 19th TrialGP World Championship title, it would be his 38th overall across the indoor and outdoor series. Bou took the victory on the World Championship’s last visit to Britain.

Marcelli also arrives in excellent form, after three consecutive wins: His first World Championship victory at the last round held in the United States, plus two further triumphs in the Spanish Championship in Pobladura de las Regueras (León). He heads into the British event aiming to fight for another win, close the season on a high note, and secure third place in the overall standings.

The action will kick off on Friday with scrutineering, official practice and a visit to the zones. On Saturday and Sunday, starting at 9:00 a.m. local time, the two decisive days of competition in the 2025 TrialGP World Championship season take place.

Toni Bou

Championship: 1st

"We're heading into the weekend with great motivation. It's been a great season, and we're very close to achieving our goal of taking the title. Our mindset is always to fight for the win, but above all, this weekend we'll be looking to secure the title. The team have done an excellent job all year, and returning to the UK is very special. Trial is a very intense experience here with a great crowd, so we're very keen to get going."

Gabriel Marcelli

Championship: 3rd

"I'm coming into this round feeling very good. The last few races have gone very well, and that's given me a lot of confidence, which is vital for this final round in the UK. The goal is to keep this momentum going and fight for the win; we know it won't be easy, but we're ready to be up there. Third place in the standings is almost in our grasp, and it would be incredible to finish the season at the top of the podium. It's been a year of inconsistency, but rounding off 2025 with a win would be the best way to show that I can be in contention for the title in the future."

Takahisa Fujinami

Team Manager

"We're coming into this final round of the World Championship in a very favourable position. Toni has the opportunity to secure his 19th TrialGP title, which is something incredible, and the most important thing is that he's managed to maintain a very high level of performance throughout the season. Gabri, meanwhile, is in spectacular form, with three consecutive wins that demonstrate the great work he's doing. The team are highly motivated; we know it will be a special weekend. Our goal is to close out the season with both riders on top."
