Toni Bou leads the standings and Gabriel Marcelli is second.
The TrialGP World Championship returns to action after a two-week break this weekend, with the fourth round of the season in Neunkirchen (Germany). The Repsol Honda riders reach the halfway point of the 2024 season leading the way in the standings, with Toni Bou on 117 points and teammate Gabriel Marcelli second with 90.
With a 27-point lead, Bou is on a run of five consecutive victories and a second position so far this season. The last time the Repsol Honda Team rider competed in Neunkirchen was in 2022, when he took two victories. His goal for this weekend will be to repeat those results and extend his advantage in the standings.
Marcelli arrives in the German town with the highest motivation. On the second day in Valssasina (Italy), the Montesa Cota 4RT rider struggled and took fifth position, the first time he has been off the podium in the entire 2024 season. This weekend, the Repsol Honda rider will seek to return to the rostrum and fight for his first victory in the outdoor discipline.
On Friday, the riders will have technical and administrative verifications, as well as a chance to scout the zones. On Saturday and Sunday the action will begin at 9:00 a.m.

“We go to Germany with the aim of continuing our good results. In Italy we had some physical problems that we have already solved almost 100%, so we are raring to go. The two 2022 rounds in Neunkirchen were very good, and I really like the area. We did not expect to go into this weekend with such a large points advantage, but things have gone very well, although we are aware that there is still half the season left and that we cannot switch off. We have to continue with the utmost focus."
Gabriel Marcelli
“I face the weekend in Germany with great motivation, since it was bittersweet in Italy. I hope to be able to turn the situation around this weekend. The goal is to get back on the podium, which eluded us on the second day in Valssasina. I am physically fitter for these two races in Germany, and want to be back on the podium again. The terrain is quite mixed in Neunkirchen, something that benefits my riding, so we could have a good weekend.”

“This weekend we are calmer and recharged after being able to rest for two weeks. The team has done a great job and we arrive very motivated. Toni has a significant lead in the championship, but there is still half a season left and we cannot slow down. His objective will be to fight for victory and to achieve the best possible result. After the last round in Italy he was not at 100% physically, but with the break he has been able to recover. Gabri had a difficult day on the Sunday in Valssasina, in which he could not fight for the podium positions. The goal this weekend will be to regain confidence and fight for the win again -and get back on the podium.”
