The Repsol Honda HRC rider claims his twentieth title in the indoor discipline
Toni Bou has been crowned X-Trial World Champion for the twentieth time, after winning the eighth round of the season, held in Chalon-sur-Saône, France. He seals the title with two rounds of the season remaining.
With seven wins from eight rounds -taking his career total to 98 victories in the discipline-, the Montesa Cota 4RT rider overcame the handicap of not being 100% fit throughout the season. His worst result of the year was a second-place finish on Réunion Island, showing the high level he maintained round after round.
Toni Bou’s statistics in the X-Trial World Championship are extraordinary: 128 appearances, 98 victories, and 116 podium finishes since 2007. Since joining Repsol Honda HRC, he has consistently won titles and built an unprecedented dominance in trial riding, establishing himself as the sport’s all-time great.
This has been replicated in outdoor competition. In the TrialGP World Championship, Bou has amassed 166 victories in 279 races and a total of 224 podium finishes, numbers that reinforce his status as the most decorated rider of all time.
The 2026 TrialGP season will kick off in May, where the Repsol Honda HRC rider will face a new challenge and try to move closer to a milestone 40 world titles.
